Twenty-two years ago
a friend suggested that I cook for others, and so we
began in my home, just my mother and I. We cooked as
we had learned to cook in my grandmother’s kitchen:
everything was fresh, everything was made from scratch.
The pasta was made by hand and cut by hand, the soups
were made from our own stocks, the desserts were made
from scratch. Everything was produced in the time-honored
tradition passed on from generation to generation.
Quality was
and still is our foremost priority.
Slowly, we grew, adding
kitchen and service staff to help us until my little
home business called out for commercial space. We settled
at 885 Boston Post Road in a little section of a little
building. Along with our catering we added Gourmet-to-Go,
a retail operation serving baked goods, fabulous soups
and sandwiches, and a few dinners all to go. Soon we
took on additional space (from one postage-stamp-sized
space to two) and added tables for those who wanted
to eat in. Next we added Sunday Brunch, quickly followed
by a r estaurant serving lunch and dinner.

little building in Madison is bursting!!!!
It
has become a Mecca for food lovers - a travel stop for
those making the New York to Boston trip. Our modest
success has only intensified our dedication to serving
quality food. The professionalism of our staff has reached
new heights. We are known throughout New England for
our delicious foods and our attention to details.
